Save Lake Powell!
Under a legal settlement reached earlier this year, Lake Powell must study
impacts on the park -- including PWC. This first step will be to guage public
interest in keeping the park open.
While form letters and petitions are accepted, park managers have placed a
higher value on personal letters that they receive on the issue.
Please take a moment today to write a short, polite
letter to park managers at Lake Powell. (This web site will allow you to easily
e-mail your own letter to them. You may also add yourself to a petition
list.) Tell them that you are in favor of continued access for PWC at the park.
Also add your own feelings about the park in general.
